Young artists and young designers (Part Four) Small

"Looking back at the history of art, from ancient to contemporary, you're able to establish that connection between what you saw today at the Salone del Mobile and what did you study?"

Matilde
Visit the Salone del Mobile was like entering an ancient world in modern reviewed.
I could see pieces of furniture of 1700, for example petineuse, tabled in technology and original way. I have reviewed the elements of great luxury for the aristocracy of the time taken in a key of modern luxury.
The floral motif of many tissues refers to a jump in the very near past, the Art Nouveau. The only architecture
of the different stands and their preparation will lead to enter into a future world, technology and luxury, a real journey into a new world.

Chiara
For the testing of new materials and shapes of objects of design, it makes me think of the movements of avangurdia 900, stravolsero fees that traditional art to make room for new languages. In looking at the Satellite
Pavilion seats Antoinette Bader (Vienna, Zurich) makes me think of the decomposition of the shape of the Cubist movement that aimed to reproduce the points of view from which an object can be seen.

Bio Diffusion And Osmosis Lab Report

"Looking back at the history of art, from antiquity to the contemporary, that you're able to establish connection between what you saw today at the Salone del Mobile and what did you study? "

Simona

Most of the works of architecture and design proposed again in this exhibition reflects the minimalist approach and rational, typical of the postwar period.
The protagonist of the exhibition is the essential line, whether to be straight or curved.
symbolic re-proposed works: the Barcelona chair by Mies van der Rohe, fully curved vessels, such as those of High.

Nicola

Today design is almost totally dominated by curved or straight lines are not orthogonal. Orthogonality and rationalism, which have dominated the last century in architecture and design, seem to give way to more imaginative and original forms, combined with materials and features targeted towards the same goal.

Deborah
Some design objects recall the style of the '60s in color and imagination while other works, such as chests of drawers covered with glass, reminiscent of the early work of the Chicago School of steel and glass.
Other objects of design refer to the study of speed and movement, typical of the Futurist period.

"Looking back at the history of art, from ancient to contemporary, unable to establish that connection between what you saw today at the Salone del Mobile and what did you study? "

Martina
The Haystacks Series designed by Monet, the Impressionist art movement in the late nineteenth century, seems to have revival by a series of wire shelves entirely closed pending colored with yellow and brown tones. With a semi-oval shape.
Some chairs or chairs of different colors and compositions with strong lines and dynamic lead back to the recent architecture of the famous architect Zaha Hadid, some of which were exposed vessels.
Many references even to the most famous among the chairs of architects like Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe.

Marta
An interesting link is "metamorphosis". Often art artists, especially painters, were inspired by the Metamorphoses of Ovid, and then to mythology. The word "metamorphosis" appears in different stands: the objects of design can be transformative, changing their function.

Silvia
Strong references to Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, whose simplicity and essentiality remain contemporary.
The influence of current deconstructionist has found space in the design objects (chairs, chests of drawers) that are not broken down, becoming a classic but contemporary.
Many forms are due to language architect Hadid.

What Are Botticelli Curls

Small young designers and artists (part one)

Students Art School Fountain Arese visited the Milan Furniture Fair with a special mission: to discover what the new trends in design are inspired by art movements of the past.
After the tour we asked the students this question: "Looking back at the history of art, from ancient to contemporary, you're able to establish that connection between what you saw today at the Salone del Mobile and what did you study?"
Some of their answers:

Alice
the entrance of the Fair lakes located between the pavilion and the other reminiscent of the mirrors of the Barcelona Pavilion, as the filming of the typical chair by Mies.
The tables refer to the Mudejar style.
There are many references to Art Nouveau, the decorative parts of lampshades for table lamps.
The recovery of floral art was particularly evident in the fabrics that covered sofas, pillows and blankets. Sinuous lines can also be found in several newspapers and treads with double beds. The back of some chairs
resumed Gothic art, for special features.
In a stand was clearly visible the work of Modigliani used to decorate shelves.

Aurora Some chairs
resumed the chair by Le Corbusier, in the Barcelona Pavilion.
I have also seen tables that point to Pop Art
Some of the furniture appear to reproduce the character of African art.
In Hall of bathroom furnishings are numerous references to Baroque and Rococo to Cubism. Some tables
recall the style of the furnishings by Aalto.

Brown Discharge Before Period Mucus

ITT Gentileschi of Milan Expo in the heart ITT

But who said that young people no longer look to the future? A fifth class of Milan Gentileschi IIT has decided to develop a project related Expo 2015 (which was recently presented the official master plan). The boys want to understand how So.Ge works (the company called to handle the big event), to understand how many people will visit Milan and Expo, which will be the economic returns and employment of the event, what does the Bre-Be-Mi "and" City Life, ... and much more. So many questions that demonstrate the desire of young people (but also teachers) to know and understand Expo and a bit 'and then also their future.
To answer their questions, we tell what is a universal exhibition, how it works and what is it, what direction you are going and how to arrive at Expo 2015.
We analyzed together the master plan to find out what will be built and where and what will be the attractions of the Expo. We enjoyed the movies that have institutional Expo 2015, and some have commented, "I'd like to live in a city like this."
We sifted through the official website of Expo to retrieve the materials needed to complete the school project.
At the end of two hours a lot of enthusiasm and gratitude of prof "we finally understood what the Expo."

Add Ins For Brownie Mix

Gentileschi of Milan near Milan and the Fiera

Wednesday, May 5, 2010 we met with two fifth classes Technical Institute of Milan Tourist Artemisia Gentileschi . Very active boys, prepared and interested. Half of them plan to continue their studies at the University or a postgraduate diploma and the other half thinking of starting to work and gain experience to build expertise in the field of tourism (from hotels, to the agencies to get to events). We speculated on
with scenarios of today's world of work : an increasingly difficult and competitive, especially for young people who want to enter. To succeed you must have patience and preparation of Gentileschi and the boys seem to be on track. The school has so far helped them with projects and activities targeted orientation of school-work (internship in the villages Valtour for example).
The boys have clear understanding of the opportunities offered by the presence Fair Rho Pero (The Institute is located at Via Natta, then a short walk from Pero, a town inhabited by a student who attended the fairs with his father, entrepreneur). Kids alert and ready to seize the opportunities offered them. In the meantime, good luck to maturity at the gates now!
